Material Specifications
Corflute
Corflute is an extruded 3.3mm thick corrugated polypropylene plastic sheet which is very lightweight and the most cost effective sign material. It is ideal for short-term indoor or outdoor use, especially for temporary locations including construction and building sites, and commonly used for Real Estate signage.
Common uses: Construction and building site signage, single use hazard boards. Temporary site signage.
Pros: Temporary, Very lightweight, Economical.
Cons: Degrades over time, not generally reusable
PVC
Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride sheet is a 1.5mm thick flat rigid plastic with a small amount of flexibility. PVC is great for indoor and outdoor use with excellent resistance to UV damage and cracking. Perfect for indoor permanent signs to be mounted on a flat surface such as a wall or door using double sided tape or screws.
Common uses: Indoor permanent wall/door mounted signage. Can be used with non-permanent markers.
Pros: Medium-weight, Durable, Flat finish
Cons: Higher cost over corflute
ACM
Aluminium Composite Material is a 4.0mm thick rigid sign material made up of thin aluminium face sheets laminated over a polypropylene core. ACM is a strong, thick, flat material that is ideal for permanent outdoor signs with a long life.
Common uses: Permanent outdoor signs. Entrance, exit, traffic, parking, building, wall or post mounted signs. Also where a whiteboard style sign is required for use with non-permanent markers.
Pros: Permanent, Heavy duty, Very durable, Flat finish
Cons: More expensive, heaviest option
Decal - Self Adhesive Vinyl (SAV)
Self Adhesive Vinyl (SAV) is a digital printed vinyl decal with a second clear UV protective vinyl layer laminated over top. Decals are heavy duty, flexible vinyl stickers ideal for indoor and outdoor use for signs on vehicles, walls, windows, containers, vehicles, virtually any clean, dry surface. The adhesive side has air escape channels in the adhesive layer for easy bubble free application.
Common uses: Vehicle, window, door & wall stickers, anywhere where it it is easier to apply a sticker than to attach a sign panel.
